MLB 2017 Predictions

It is the first year in 108 years that the Chicago Cubs begin the season as World Series champions. Will they have another magical run and make it back-to-back chamionships? Can the Indians make another run to the World Series? Here are my predictions for the 2017 season.
I think the Cubs will fall to the Giants in the NLDS in the postseason. The Indians have a great pitching staff and I predict them winning the World Series in 2017!

World Series   Nationals over Mariners

The Giants and the Royals should have solid teams again, but I don't see either team making it back to the playoffs this season.  I like the Mariner's chances this season in the American League with King Felix. They have a solid offense and I look for them to make it to their first World Series. In the National League, the Nationals have one of the best pitching rotations in a long time and a great offense. They are my pick to win the World Series for the 2015 season.

Baltimore/Kansas City Playoff Appearances

If you had Baltimore and Kansas City picked for the ALCS this season then you are a liar. Both teams were very relevant throughout the 1970s and early 1980s; however, neither team has reached an ALCS since 1997, when Baltimore lost to the Cleveland Indians. The Royals last made the ALCS in 1985, a year in which they won the World Series in 7 games against St. Louis. The Royals and Orioles will go head-to-head in the playoffs for the first time beginning Friday night.
